I was commissioned to fix the badly executed artwork that had been painted by another artist. Ideally I'd have fixed the whole mural (and especially the lettering) but the agreement was to just repaint the face.

I began by completely blanking out the existing face with white paint then starting fresh.

Whilst painting the mural, I learnt that the portrait had already been repainted several times by at least two artists!
